Hey guys.

Here's a bit of an update on what's going on.

So I can't go into much detail, but what's getting to me (and has been) is my family. It's sorta falling apart.

Just keep my family in your prayers. We really need God at this point in time.

The other is that one of my best friends ... kinda left me when I needed him most. For whatever reason, he had an issue with me, and ran away from it instead of confronting it. He told me to back off. I needed him and he told me to back off. He told me to go "cry somewhere else."
I do love him still, and I want to be his friend, but he's gotta come to realize that what he said to me that night, and how he's treated me the last few months has got to be apologized for, and he's gotta treat me better. I'm sick of always being reminded how inadequate and inferior I am.

And there's work... but I suppose everyone is overworked, underpaid, and under-appreciated. Çest la víe.

You guys can catch me on dAmn (That's the chat network, for those of you unfamiliar to the acronym) every once in a while, usually PST 5pm-9pm if I'm on.

I loved you once. We were a great team. I've been a good friend to you. You've always been a know-it-all, do-it-all, in-your-face prick, and it's what I liked about you. You were afraid of being touched. You are afraid of getting too close to anyone. Sorry that you got too close to me. Sorry for just trying to be a friend. Sorry I "smothered" you by asking you what was wrong.

Sorry for having my feelings hurt when you asked me on a road trip and ignored me the whole time. Sorry for saying hi yesterday, as by your reaction it clearly irritated you. Sorry for being sad that you're moving out, I did end up crying somewhere else.

So I loved you. Once.

Now I am moving on. Your loss. Other people love me... I think. I tell myself that.

Hey guys.

First off, thanks for the well wishes. I love this community, I really do.

Second, The LA devmeet was fantastic. I got to meet a lot of awesome people (i.e. $Dan14Lev and @lenawargo and =xqz-moi and @DreamingMyth), AND I got to hang out with some old pals, `dammitMEL, `dedredhed, =thederangedone, and the ever-fun $Stykera.

Thirdly and most importantly, there's someone who is in need of your love and support. Read this journal: [link] and give the guy some loving. Something happened to him that shouldn't happen to anyone. It's jacked up beyond measure.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Give him love and spread this to others. This is when community becomes vital. You guys are amazing.

Well, it's that time of year again - that's right, my dAnniversary.

Well, this time it's the big 6. Six years ago, a friend of mine was giving me the rundown of this great website she had found and told me to join. Who'd have thunk that six years later, she would have dropped off the face of dA for good, and I would have quite a following (as well as a much increased love for art).

Just a look backwards...

It seems that I broke 40,000 pageviews. I'm not a pageview braggart in the least, in fact I find it quite irritating, but it was a milestone to be noted. Considering that in 2005 I had 100 pageviews, to receive an average of 10,000 a year is impressive.

My most popular piece, has over 11,000 pageviews - something I never would have thought any of my pieces would receive. It also has 300+ comments and 100+ favourites.

But I think the most memorable of all my time on dA has been spent on the forums and in dAmn. Oh the fun of the old #lolwat. Oh the sarcasm found in #NaziPit. Oh the ... geizers found in #Seniors. It's just too much fun.

And then there are the friends... oh, the friends. Those whom have stuck by me, and I have trusted most... you know who you are, and I love you to death. I can't play favorites because it's not quite fair, but you do know who you are.

... Well, I can play favorites. AT least for one. has put up with my shit for 4 years now, and I LOVE HIM. Everyone needs to go give him some serious lovin'.
